the drawing process in Thin Places occurred on the X and Y axes of each page and on the z axes of the stacks into which the pages were organized. rips allowed material to travel downwards to the sheet(s) below. holes became portals for material to travel through, leaving unknown marks to collect below. pages became ripped, crumpled, and cut, becoming implicated with one another on spatial and temporal levels. strata that were buried below surfaced, old drawings were covered by new ones, and fresh traces pitched downwards.
