for this iteration of Thin Places, i directed two slide projectors at a piece of vellum that was hung in the middle of the gallery. one projected light onto the paper's front side and the other onto its back side. the thinness of the paper allowed light to pass through, creating a superimposition of two images that could be viewed from either side. i'm interested in boundaries that merge and make legible what they stand in between.
